How often do periods come?
The menstrual cycle can vary from 20–35 days and still be normal. The average is about every 28 days.

How do use a calendar to figure out when your period?
It is a good idea to keep a record of your menstrual cycle . To do this, just circle the days you menstruate on a calendar. Do this every time you get your period. Does diet affect menstruation?
Nutrition is necessary for growth and general good health, so the better balanced and healthier your diet, the better you’ll feel. Just before your period, you may want to avoid caffeine, salt, and carbonated drinks—especially diet sodas. Some women find that these foods contribute more to uncomfortable premenstrual symptoms.
